Huawei released a 3.5GHz CAT6 LTE-A device at the 3.5GHz LTE TDD Roundtable at MWC 2015. The device, supporting 2 carrier aggregation with total downlink speed of over 220Mbps, represents the end-to-end commercialization of LTE-A at the 3.5GHz band, according to Huawei.

Huawei has partnered with EE and Qualcomm Technologies to successfully complete LTE category 9 testing, which has achieved download speeds of up to 410Mbps.The test utilized Huawei's infrastructure solution across EE's LTE-A '4G+' network alongside QTI's Qualcomm® Snapdragon™ 810 processor with integrated LTE-Advanced

Huawei has announced completion of the bidirectional handover test between LTE FDD CA and LTE TDD CA, both with 40MHz bandwidth, utilizing a mobile device enabled by the Qualcomm Gobi 9x35 modem, working with Huawei’s One LTE network solution.

Huawei plans to invest over $4 billion in Fixed Broadband (FBB) technology research and development over the next three years. The investment will focus on products and solutions which will support their customers with providing an improved service experience for end users.

Mobile service provider Beeline Uzbekistan has started commercial LTE services in the country. Operator's 4G network currently covers the central areas of Tashkent, and the company plans to further expand the LTE coverage in the capital in 2015. 

Huawei has completed its first LTE TDD Easy Macro commercial deployment in Beijing with China Mobile. According to Huawei , this newly improved LTE TDD Easy Macro improves the download rate by 40% for outdoor users and 180% for indoor users.

NTT DOCOMO and Huawei announced today that their joint test has successfully demonstrated that LTE can be deployed over the 5GHz unlicensed spectrum, which is widely used for wireless LAN networks in many countries today.

Huawei and the mobile operator LG Uplus have established a Mobile Innovation Center (MIC) in Seoul. On July 30, 2014, LG Uplus and Huawei signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to mark the announcement at the LG Uplus head office in Seoul.

Singapore's mobile operator SingTel has announced a commercial 300Mbps 4G service with the launch of the Huawei E5786 mobile MiFi device. In addition to the Huawei E5786, other LTE-Advanced enabled devices, including smartphones and tablets, will be available from SingTel in the coming months.

Huawei announced EE, the BBC, Qualcomm Technologies and Huawei are collaborating in to exploring the role that 4G can play in the future of broadcasting.
