Qualcomm has announced that ASUS, HP and Lenovo are the first OEMs to develop mobile PCs powered by the Qualcomm® Snapdragon™ 835 Mobile PC Platform featuring the X16 LTE modem.

Telit is collaborating with Verizon as a key supplier of IoT modules for the carrier’s LTE Category M1 (LTE-M1) service, company announced last week.  In cooperation with Qualcomm Technologies, Telit is delivering IoT modules in full alignment with Verizon’s features and timing requirements. 

Ericsson, Qualcomm Technologies, Inc., a subsidiary of Qualcomm Incorporated, and SK Telecom plan to conduct interoperability testing and over-the-air field trials based on 5G New Radio (NR) standards being developed based on specifications in 3GPP.

Ericsson, with Vodafone and Qualcomm, today conducted live testing of advanced LTE Carrier Aggregation (CA) of LTE in licensed and unlicensed bands on a commercial mobile network.

ZTE has announced successful demonstration of time-division long term evolution (TD-LTE) downlink three-carrier aggregation (3x CA) in collaboration with China Mobile and Qualcomm Technologies. 

Qualcomm today announced that it has a growing customer design pipeline in excess of 60 mobile devices based on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 processor. New devices based on Snapdragon 810 include the LG G Flex2 and the Xiaomi Mi Note Pro, with many more expected in the coming weeks and months.

Ericsson and Qualcomm have completed inter-company interoperability testing of LTE Category 9 connectivity, with download speeds of up to 450 Mbps. Testing was conducted using Ericsson's LTE-Advanced network infrastructure and QTI's next-generation LTE-Advanced modem.
