Huawei plans to launch LTE TDD wireless broadband router, the Huawei B593, through Saudi Arabian operator Mobily in October this year. Mobily is a subsidiary of multinational UAE telecom operator Etisalat.

The Huawei B593 supports LTE TDD and FDD, features a download speed of up to 100M and provides access to up to 32 WiFi devices as well as desktop computers through an Ethernet cable. Huawei has already launched LTE FDD wireless broadband router in Germany in Dec. 2010.

"The Huawei B593 provides bandwidth comparable with that of fixed broadband. In addition to the obvious benefits this brings consumers, operators now have the ability to provide superfast Internet access without the need for fixed network infrastructure. This enables operators to expand their subscriber base in a more flexible and cost-effective way," said Hu Guangping, head of Mobile Broadband LTE division, Huawei Device.
