Smile Communications Tanzania has launched the commercial 4G LTE broadband network in country after more than a year of extensive testing. In 2012, operator chose Tanzania as the first country in Africa in which to deploy its LTE network. 

Smile 4G LTE is now commercially available across Dar es Salaam and operator expects to provide unparalleled speed, reliability, quality and ease of use. 

Smile Communications currently has a presence in five countries across Africa, including Tanzania.
