TELUS Brings LTE to Orillia and Labrador City

Canada's TELUS has launched LTE services in Orillia, Ontario and Labrador City, Newfoundland. With this expansion, operator's LTE service now covers almost 80 per cent of the Canadian population across approximately 200 markets.

27 million Canadians have now access to 4G LTE technology from TELUS. TELUS is offering a wide rage of LTE devices to its customers such as the recently launched BlackBerry Q5, BlackBerry Z30, Nokia Lumia 625, Nokia Lumia 1020, Samsung GALAXY Mega, Samsung GALAXY Note 3 and Samsung GS4 and GS3 Minis. Other LTE-enabled devices in TELUS’ lineup include: Samsung GALAXY S4, BlackBerry Q10, HTC One, and BlackBerry Z10, as well as the Huawei E397 4G LTE Mobile Internet Key and Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE.

According to operator, TELUS’ 4G LTE network supports manufacturers’ rated peak download speeds of up to 75 megabits per second (Mbps), with an expected average of 12 to 25 Mbps.
