02 May 2013 - Anite, a global leader in wireless equipment testing technology, today announced that 7Layers, an international group of independent test and engineering centres, has selected Anite’s LTE device test solution for conformance and mobile operator acceptance testing in Suwon, South Korea.

7Layers has been using Anite’s 2G, 3G and LTE device testing solutions at a range of its global facilities for over ten years. Increasing demand for LTE and the high levels of customer and engineer satisfaction with Anite’s solutions have led 7Layers to further extend its LTE test capabilities in South Korea using Anite’s device test solutions.

These new systems will considerably increase 7Layers’ LTE test capabilities, thereby ensuring its customers rapidly qualify for and comply with demanding global LTE certification programmes, including both PTCRB/GCF conformance and carrier specific acceptance programmes.

“We are experiencing significant growth in the South Korean mobile testing market and a surge in demand for LTE conformance and operator acceptance testing, from both core technology suppliers and end-product manufacturers”, explains TK Bae, CEO at 7Layers Korea. “By adding Anite’s LTE device test solution to our current range of LTE test-equipment, we are enabling our customers to have their mobile devices tested in a straightforward and smooth process. The Anite 9000 will be integrated into our InterLab test management system in May to further enhance the test process.”

“We are delighted that 7Layers, one of the world’s leading LTE test and certification providers, has selected Anite to extend its device testing capacity and capability in South Korea”, says Paul Beaver, Products Director at Anite. “It underlines Anite’s leading position as a preferred solution for conformance and interoperability testing and will enable 7Layers customers to accelerate the launch of new LTE devices to market.”
