[Stockholm, Sweden, April 27, 2012.] CellMax Technologies, a Swedish leading provider of advanced ultra-high efficiency base station antennas, has been nominated for the “Stora Exportpriset 2012” by the Swedish Trade Council as one of the most successful Swedish export companies of the past few years.

“Stora Exportpriset 2012” – The Swedish National Export Prize – is awarded by the Swedish Trade Council to a Swedish company that has displayed strong development in its exports in recent years, with successes in several markets.

CellMax has been nominated for this prestigious award for the company’s rapidly increasing export of ultra-high efficiency antennas for the global telecommunications market. CellMax antennas feature an innovative design that gives users - the world's mobile operators - a higher signal strength, better coverage and increased traffic - with the same energy consumption as traditional antennas.

CellMax is one of the fastest growing technology companies in Sweden and Europe. Many of the world’s leading mobile operators and suppliers of network equipment have purchased and use CellMax antennas today; The antennas are presently in operation in more than 20 countries on all six inhabitated continents. 97 per cent of the company’s production is exported. The winner of the Swedish National Export Prize is announced in Stockholm om May 22.

CellMax Technologies was recently nominated for an LTE Award recognising “achievements made by companies in the LTE industry”.

CellMax’s revolutionary antenna technology reduces the power losses within the antenna to close to zero, as opposed to traditional antennas that dissipate up to 55 per cent of the power/energy of the base station, reducing the base station’s transmission capacity significantly. With CellMax antennas, mobile operators can gain a higher signal strength and a dramatic increase in geographical area coverage, improved indoor penetration, increased traffic, improved data throughput and reduced production costs per call – all without any increase in power consumption.
