As Apple iPhone 4 specifications are available now , I was curious to compare it with HTC Evo 4G. See below a side-by-side comparison of these two handsets.
HTC EVO 4G and iPhone 4 are almost matched in many respects except for a few differences. HTC EVO 4G had diffinetly a edge before iPhone 4 was announced however situation is quite balanced now. With superior display & battery life iPhone 4 holds advantage. HTC EVO 4G may have edge if Sprint can provide The 4G Speed and coverage.
Another point worth mentioning here that HTC EVO 4G provides a Mobile Hotspot for up to 8 Wi-Fi devices, consumers with this kind of need will favor HTC.

For standby time & Data usage
For standby time & Data usage I am pretty sure that it would be more lower than iPhone 4. Even when HTC is powered off it's battery drains.
A few specs were left out...
A few specs were left out... The Evo Has 2 LED flashes for it's 8mp camera, It's also a wi-fi hotspot for up to 8 devices at a time, The HDMI output for direct connection to a TV, 720 video w/ sound as well at 25 fps. The video conferencing is not limited to wi-fi and same phone.
