About HSPA/HSPA+

HSPA (High speed packet access) is the next generation of mobile network technology that includes High Speed Downlink Packet Access (HSDPA) and High Speed Uplink Packet Access (HSUPA). It extends and improves the performance of existing WCDMA protocols. Evolved HSPA also known as HSPA+  is an 3GPP standard defined in 3GPP release 7 and 8 of the WCDMA specification.

Prerequisite
